1916. Women's football is fast becoming the most popular game in the land. One Edinburgh factory football team fights for their right to play the beautiful game. Until the F.A. bans women's football in 1921.

Written by Paul Beeson & Tim Barrow, and directed by Bruce Strachan, Sweet F.A. is the world premiere of a new play with songs and original music composed by Matthew Brown, playing at Tynecastle Park football stadium from 5th to 30th August 2021 for the Edinburgh Fringe.

Performing on a uniquely-constructed stage in the Main Stand, a cast of nine Scottish women tell this vital, timely story.

This Is My Story Productions are thrilled and honoured to once again be working with Heart of Midlothian Football Club to create this show, and are indebted to the support of ASC Limited.

This production follows the latest Covid events Scottish Government guidelines.
